Daisy

Daisy has a new friend!  One of this year's crop of squirrels is residing in my trees.  It is so small it can't weigh more than a pound.  It comes down on the lower limbs and hisses and spits at Daisy.  Daisy sits under that tree and gazes up at it.  She is so hopeful that it will just jump down into her mouth.  I had the cats outside the other day and Sally was trying to sneak up to the tree.  I caught her before she made a beeline up that tree.  She would probably have gotten that little guy.  I am now in the process of designing and building a catatat for my cats.  I will post diagrams and pics after I get it done.  They want outside and I want them outside.  As it stands now, I am busy growing herbs for them.  I keep pots of basil and mint growing for them.  Also, oats.  Oats are what the pet stores sell as cat grass. I'll still have to grow the herbs for them, but I can sew the oats directly in their run.  I am really excited about this.
