Been awhile

It has been awhile since I have had time to be on here.  So here is what I have face in the last 3 months.  On March 18, we had a hail storm.  Not just any hail storm.  We had baseball sized hail.  It beat up my roof, broke my skylight, turbines, gutters, and air conditioner.  It also broke my windshield and taillight and beat up my car. 

So ok, got that all taken care of.  Mostly.  New roof, new gutters, waiting on skylight and air conditioner.  Insurance paid on the car but I haven't had time to take it in and get it fixed.  Just finished up with that and called a plumber because my kitchen sink was plugged.  They came out and spent 2 days trying to get it open.  No dice.  So then I was told that there was a break and they would have to dig up the foundation in the dining room. Not happy, but ok.  So last week on Tuesday, we dug up the foundation in the dining room.  I have moved all the furniture from the dining room to the living room.  I now have a trail from the front door to the hall.  They spent all day Tuesday looking for the leak.  Could not find it.  Wednesday, they told me it was in the master bedroom under my bed.  So we shoved all that furniture into the bathroom and closet and they dug up a 12x3' trench in the master bedroom.  They worked on that all day Thursday and Friday.  They are back today hopefully to finish up.  Then I have about 2 weeks of cleaning, washing clothing and bedding, painting walls.  I hate houses on slabs.  I am so tired of smelling dust.  My dogs have been troopers.  The cats not so much. Duncan is happy.  He gets to spend all day on the big bed and I have to sit in here with him to make sure he does not wake up and walk off the bed.  I am miserable.
