Loving my wildlife

Sir Edward bushytail had made sure that he gets all the birdseed I put out.  I bought squirrel resistant feeders.  It took him about 2 minutes to get them open.  I put bird seed in pie plates on the ground because doves prefer to eat on the ground.  Well, Sir Edward not only at the seed, he stole the pie plates. I found two.  So now I guess I will just use the pie plates for water for the small creatures in my yard.  I will still put seed on the ground for the doves, but I will put it in some old heavy skillets I have and he cannot carry those off. Another squirrel has tried to move into my yard and I hear Edward and him fighting on the roof.  It sounds like I have a herd of small animals all over the roof.  Edward always wins though.  He is cute.  And fearless.
