My friends are doing great. Summer has finally come to Texas, but not like last summer. Last summer, the devil himself camped here. This summer, we have had rain and cooler temps. My little guys are really appreciating this. The only drawback is the mosquitoes. They are bad. Well, every one is on heartworm meds so that won't be a problem.
Essie has built another nest. It is in the oak tree right outside my front door. She throws thing like the peanuts I give her at me when I go outside. When I come home from work, I am pelted with peanuts. Maybe she doesn't like them and is telling me so. She also loves the small trays of water I leave on the ground. She plays in them. Love my animals and love the creatures in nature. I will exclude the two legged variety, but they don't consider themselves to be part of the animal kingdom. Were I a four legged creature, I would not want them in my grouping either. They should be at the bottom of the food chain, like, say, and amoeba.
