Missy

I took Missy back to Dr. Don on Friday.  I took her before I went to work and left her.  Dr. Don called me around 1:30pm.  He had examined Missy.  The hematoma on her ear had been drained and he told me it might come back.  The sores on her skin, a severe allergy to fleas.  Even though I have been treating her with Advantax 11, it was not controlling the fleas and he said just one bite from a flea was enough to trigger an allergic reaction.  So now we are treating all with Confortis and Advantage.  This is the first year I have had a problem with fleas.  Always before, I have just bathed them once a week and that took care of the fleas if they had any.  Not this year.  Like the mosquitos, the fleas are unreal.  Hoping this doubling up works for Missy's sake.  She is so miserable.
